Job Title: Senior IBM Cognos Developer
Job Type: Contractor
Experience: 5+ years
Skills: Cognos Framework Manager, Query Studio, Analysis Studio, Report Studio, Metric Manager, Metric Studio.

Description: 
5+ years experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying reporting and analytical applications using the Cognos product suite
Significant experience with Cognos 8 Framework Manager, Query Studio, PowerPlay Studio, Analysis Studio and Report Studio required
Experience with Metric Studio and/or Event Studio strongly desired
2+ years experience administering Cognos 8 environments
Experience implementing data warehousing solutions in an Oracle 10g environment strongly desired. Experience with analytical databases and/or data warehouse appliances a plus.
Experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying ETL solutions using leading ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, IBM InfoSphere Information Server, or Oracle Warehouse Builder strongly desired.
Excellent problem solving skills and strong attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing, team-based environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with business and technical communities
Excellent written communications skills

Job Title: Data Warehouse ETL Developer
Job Type: Contractor
Experience: 5+ years
Skills: IBM DataManager, IBM DataStage, Microsoft SSIS, Oracle Warehouse Builder.

Description:
Work with cross-functional team members to recommend technical solutions to business issues and/or system issues.
Assist in making technical recommendations for more efficient troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Apply generally accepted programming standards and techniques to assure efficient program logic and data manipulation.
Provide assistance and routine consultation to internal business users of applications.
Work with cross functional team members to develop system and software designs.
Address multiple technical issues for resolution.
Work with Business Analyst/Systems Analyst to estimate new system issue resolution or package implementation efforts.
Adhere to the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
5 + years experience architecting and building data warehouses.
5 + years using ETL tools IBM DataStage, IBM DataManager , Oracle Warehouse Builder or Microsoft SSIS.  
Knowledge of dimensional data modeling and star schema design.
Experience in current software engineering and solution delivery methodologies.
Ability to build consensus and influence others.
